This work's title is an abstraction of the Laura Ingles Wilder quote: “home is the nicest word there is.” Look carefully in the top left window to discover a still, nude woman engulfed in raging flames. The drawing is a meditation on the destruction of safety, fantasized freedom from domesticity, and the physicality of climate change in intimate life. She states: "It also serves as a meditation on being stuck in the f*ing house for 2 months." And we're still counting.
